Brian Dean is a Utah-based artist with a primary focus on experiential art. He seeks to create childlike play and foster a sense of wonder through deep discovery within multi-faceted artworks and events. With artistic interests and design/build skillsets ranging from climbable structures to interactive light shows to immersive stage environments, large textile constructions, and more, Brian seeks to turn new and repurposed materials into meaningful community experiences.

Growing up in a family of makers, builders, and doers, Brian learned his way around the shop at a young age. Honing his design skills through a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, he constantly seeks to broaden his capabilities through exploring new fabrication methods and the use of repurposed materials.
