The HEX Portal, a kaleidoscopic tunnel of light and sound, built for the Dream Emporium @ Electric Forest in 2024. The Brain Wash! A mechanized ride-through human car wash, built for Electric Forest in 2023. Five electric "cars" transport participants through a character-led car-wash experience, complete with misters, bubbles, spinning brushes, overhead shammies, and a blow dry! The Classic Slide is a whimsical Art Car build for Burning Man in 2018. This bespoke circus tent is interactivity on wheels. A rope ladder built into the front leads you to an observation deck at the tippy top, and a 30 foot long playground slide lets you slip back down to earth , where the sound system creates a party at the back! I led this project with a group of friends in 2018, and we've shared it with Burning Man on multiple occassions since.
Prism is an experiment in dancefloor theory. Bucking the trend of the DJ-facing party, Prism features surround sound located in four climbable gogo towers and activity in every direction. The shade sails are embedded with LEDs programmed to be controlled by a remote VJ box, so anyone can create the light show, and the 12-foot dining room table in the center provides a unique vantage from which to enjoy the party! Fully Custom RGB LEDs were added to the Solar Saucer, a solar-powered DJ both build by Scotty Soltronic. Using a saucer-shaped remote control, these lights can shift between four motion patterns, three color arrangements, and nearly infinite colors/speeds.
